Personal Information (Biography): Dr. Segal joined the Children’s Clinic at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in Minneapolis in 1990. He received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota in 1984 and completed his residency in pediatrics at Babies Hospital of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in 1987. He was a fellow at the Children’s Hospital in Boston in ambulatory medicine and child abuse from 1987 to 1990, and while there, also received a Masters of Public Health from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Segal currently works in the general pediatric clinic at Children’s, is the medical director of the Medical/Surgical inpatient units, and is the current vice chief of staff. His interests include all aspects of outpatient pediatrics for the wide spectrum of childrens health care needs, as well as the care of hospitalized patients.
